In July of 2011, we broke ground for a 16 million dollar expansion of the Performing Arts Complex. This includes a complete renovation of the interior of the Howard Brubeck Theatre, with improved seating, sightlines and acoustics. In addition, the most up to date technology will give our students an outstanding educational experience. The complex will also include an Experimental Theatre, two Dance Studios, faculty and staff offices, a rehearsal room, an interior courtyard suitable for outdoor performances, and yes, more restrooms! The construction was part of Proposition M, a bond issue passed by the voters of our district in 2006. Completion of the project is scheduled for fall of 2013.
